The Music That Plays on Your Street is also mine
I found in music the main theme for the creation of photographic narratives around my experience outside Brazil. I lived in Ireland for 11 months and in this work I wanted to capture a little bit of the Irish soul, by portraying a series of musicians that occupy the space of the streets in Dublin. Music is one of the strongest elements of Irish culture and can be perceived through this intense musical street life.
Thanks to my friend and journalist Marisa Landim, who suggested the title of the essay and wrote about it for a photographic exhibition at the Galway Fringe Festival, in Galway, Ireland, in July 2014.

Museu do Cotidiano - MuC
The Museu do Cotidiano was conceived by Antônio Carlos Figueiredo, in 1987, in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais. The initial idea was to be a traditional art gallery, called Matiz Arte Galeria, however, considering that it would be another art gallery in the midst of several, he decided to follow another path: that of a collector of objects, as he would call himself, that of "the object man". The "surface prospector", as he also usually defines himself, receives visits with a date and time by telephone or e-mail.

Bahia Street Fairs
In January 2019, I visited the magical city of Cachoeira, located in the ancestral region of the Recôncavo of Bahia, where the city's open market takes place every Saturday, which is also a full plate for photography. From there I left for Salvador, where I visited the famous and old Feira de São Joaquim. As in many places in the country, on “fair days”, the movement, hustle and bustle are at the fair. Healthy foods are at the fair. The survival of many Brazilians is at the fair. Life is at the fair. Save the street fairs in Brazil!
